Good Morning!! God spoke to me this morning…yes you read that correctly. It’s been a while since I’ve been awaken with vigor and sass. But this morning at 4am I woke up in a sweat. I had three different dreams. I guess God had to put it to me if different ways for me to give it to you so here it goes…no filter LOL!!
We are so busy worried about putting money in someone else’s pockets until our own pockets are empty. Because of spite and greed we miss our own blessing. Yes you heard me. I may step on some toes but I’m not going to apologize. In my first dream were two young ladies. One was making a pair of sandals for the other but she couldn’t quite get the design right. The second young lady knew how to get the design right but refused to tell the first young lady we will call Michelle. Now what Jessica didn’t know was that Michelle was making the sandals for her. Yes, she wanted to sell them but she first wanted to gift them. Anyway, both ladies waited and waited and before they knew it someone else came out with “their” sandal and made a lot of money and they both lost out.
The second dream was about a choir singing and they had a visiting choir come to sing with them on their anniversary. Because the home choir did not want the visiting choir on their anniversary album they told the director to shut off the mic during the visiting choir’s performance. But as luck would have it the only thing that came through on the album was the visiting choir’s performance. Anyway, you get what happened in all three stories. As I said, I woke in a sweat. Instead of being jealous and wondering where your blessing lies – it lies in the fact that our Father gave you a gift to be shared. When you are spiteful, when you want to use your gift for your glory and not for His that is when He will take it from you. Your blessing won’t come to fruition. You can plant a seed but if it doesn’t have water it won’t grow. So if you selfishly hold back on a gift the almighty has given you – he will give it to someone else who will cherish it, share it, appreciate it, nourish it and help it to grow.
Many times we think we are hurting someone else when we decide not to help them but really we are hurting ourselves. We are stifling our blessings. God loves the cheerful giver.
